Polyurethane moulded foam with inserts
It is possible to integrate all kinds of inserts in our top quality PU foam: metal frames, wooden planks, plastic parts or polypress, to name but a few. These inserts provide extra sturdiness to the foam. They can be developed in-house and/or bought by us, or delivered by the client.
All-in-one solution
Foamflex Europe stands for flexibility – which also means a customised service. Our experts assist our clients throughout the complete process and help decide on the best solutions. Those solutions go further than the integration of our inserts in the PU moulded foam. You can also count on us for:
- Insert development: Foamflex Europe develops and designs inserts, and will provide the production plans based on a 3D file of the product’s external features.
- Insert purchasing: Foamflex Europe will request price offers with several suppliers, to then make a decision based on price, quality, delivery reliability and flexibility.
- Mould development and purchasing: We will hand the product’s 3D file to the mould supplier. We can also scan existing mould models to turn them into 3D files. Here also, the eventual supplier will be selected based on price, quality, capacity and delivery time.
- Transport planning: We will manage all deliveries and communicate delivery deadlines.
A range of applications
Our high tech machine park can produce limited series from 20 pieces, up to batches of 500 pieces or more. The foam volume can vary between 150 grams to 35 kg per sheet or cushion. Since we aim to be fully flexible towards volume, production quantity and mould shape, our PU foam can be used for plenty of applications:
- Seating furniture: from chairs and one-seaters to complete sofas
- Office chairs
- Bus seats
- Truck seats
- Theatre and stand seats
- Medical (examination) chairs (stools, dentist chairs, examination tables, supports, recliners)
- Project furniture
- Insulation
A high tech production process
Our manufacturing process is Polyol / MDI based, guaranteeing you PU foam of very high quality, which offers resilience and true seating comfort at the same time. Foamflex runs several production lines and machines, grouped by complexity level, volume and dimensions of the respective production range. We continuously look for new innovations in foam technology, so that we can offer you even more seating comfort and fire retardant qualities. Currently, CMHR foams (CRIB 5 and Californian TB117) already belong to our product range.
